This is an expcerpt from the Plam Beach post article entiltied: "Sheriff Seeks Wider Coastal Patrols"
The Sheriff is quoted in the paper saying:
The budget comes as the sheriff's office is in negotiations to assume control of police operations in Royal Palm Beach and Belle Glade. Bradshaw said the cities will cover the costs of the deputies.
"I would imagine that, before the next 10 days are out, we will have assumed the duties in Belle Glade and Royal Palm Beach is in the throes of negotiating with us," he told commissioners.
