I've noticed you lost a few officers in the past couple of months. Why so many for a police department so small?

we have a good ole boy system that runs on a dictatorship. The leader and his commanders give in to political pressures and have no back bone.

The pay and conditions are not that great either. Not to mention the commanders are hand picked, not on qualifications, but on who will do the master and his queens bidding. (he has the public fooled)

The resaon you see a turnover is because of the high retirement we pay and the low wages compared to other agencies and cities our size. This is a good department and good people working there and our chief tries to get us the best but the wages are still low and things such as a taser which just by having it would lower the number of confrontations as well as be able to control unruly suspects and top a lot of the drug dealers from running from us would be a great help. The city however does not want to spend the money on them.

Wow, the queen has gone. Maybe a little foreshadowing that the master will be next. We can only hope!!
