Got lucky again. If the CPOs and downtown deployment wouldn't have been here last night how could we have handled the Homicide. The CPOs were pulled from their drug op to help. Whats it going to take to admit that we don't have enough officers on the street? An officer shot and killed?
There were no officers available for a couple of hours and an average of 10 calls holding. This is a city of over a quarter of million people. I'm glad our staff is sure that only one major incident can happen at once. Of course I didn't see any staff members out there.
