I will be moving to Colorado Springs in the next few months, and was wondering about the agencies in that area. I have been in Law enforcement for 4 years, any information you could provide about starting salary, hiring process would be helpful???

Lots of good agencies out here. Denver and Aurora are two of the biggest, neither one has take home cars but they start you out at a higher rate of pay as a lateral. Because of the area that these two agencies patrol, you're going to have to deal with a lot of the same kind of crap that any large inner city department deals with. If you want to move away from the rat race, look in to Loveland, Ft. Collins, Longmont or Broomfield (all within 45 mins of Denver). Good Luck.
