On behalf of myself, the O'Brien family, and my squad, I wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of support over the course of the past several days and at today's services.
It has been a difficult week. We were all saddened by the loss of Toby. For all of you who knew him and loved him, he will never be forgotten. The city has lost a true warrior and a great cop...someone who truly loved his job, his fellow officers, and the city of Tampa.
We love you Toby. You will always live on in the hearts of those who knew you and had the privilege of serving with you. Rest peacefully brother.
