what does this mean?

That was a little Thank You, to me... He's got some new software to make his "job" easier.

Ultimately, what I think he's getting at, is by using the new boards to privately message one another, we've managed to do some totally private networking in the background that we might never have been able to do on the old board.

By clicking on a member's profile and then choosing to 'Private Message' them or just simply clicking on 'Private Message' below the current topic, whole new possibilities open up to us all.

The new board requires an additional mouse click here and there, but the added power more than makes up for the difference.

Not to mention... all comments, links to news articles and pictures are archived on the server, so hunting down prior information is for the first time a reality.
