How do you feel about changing some of the 62D rules to infractions? Why can't we get the park service to de-criminalize some of these rule, especially when some of the other divisions have made their rules infractions? What is the problem? Talk to me!

I agree with you, someone from upper management needs to go to the Secretary and explain it to her. Maybe she has the horsepower to get the park service to change some of the rules to infractions. There is no reason for example to give someone a criminal record for walking a dog on the beach. Not to mention the incident report you have to fill out due to the violation being a misdemeanor. There are a bunch of trivial 62D violation rules that just bog you down with additional paperwork.

I will write a UTC over a NTA any time. I hate writing reports and most of all like the last paost stated, I don't want to give a criminal record for a dog leash or no fishing licence. FWC and Ag Law. give our infractions by the handfuls.
