We are truly unique. Listen to this.

We're a government agency, created by Congress, but we're not Federal. Can you believe that? We also have a tri-juridictional area (D.C.) and basically run transit in D.C., Some people call us the Bus Cops, but we don't take too kindly to that (just like New Transit Police don't).
