Warning. If you have an issue be careful. This new PBA bunch is a direct pipeline to the Chief. They will throw you to the wolves. One of the top tiered people at the PBA was hired by the Chief to drive limos and is indebted to the Chief. Anything you say to the lawyers or the reps at the PBA will get back.
Tim to get out of Doral or PBA or both.

And they send a weak attorney to come over to deal with the administration with instructions not to fight too hard for its members. PBA is way too close to these clowns.

READ AND LEARN !!!!!
Legal obligation of a union (as being the exclusive representative of a collective bargaining unit) to represent all workers or employees in that unit (whether or not members of the union). This duty entails fair representation without any discrimination, obvious negligence, or arbitrary or capricious decisions.

Acknowledging your wrongdoing is a good beginning, accept full responsibility for the situation. For issues that are too complicated to be handled without some legal assistance from the union , an interim step between going it alone and using your union rep is hiring your own lawyer .
If the union fails you , you could sue your union in court for failing you in its duty of fair representation

In doral we’ve seen even if ou nothing wrong you’re still wrong if they say so. The union folks will rat on you. There is n penalty if they do. However, if you tell the union lawyer and no one else and somehow that leaks out a bar compliant would be totally appropriate.

It’s beyong horrible and we can’t even talk to our union about it. They are in bed with the administration and will give our names in a flash

Accept that Doral is now a mdpd substation. That means the pba is in control.
