Happy With The PBA? If Not...IUPA is Your Alternative. Sign an Interest Card Today!
Folks we at IUPA have gotten a lot of calls from Officers at Hallandale Beach PD seeking effective union representation. We have also heard that the Mayor and city commission do not want a new union because they cannot control us. Lighthouse Point PD will be receiving their mail in ballots to leave the PBA on August 21st. The PBA lied over and over about how unhappy the Deputies were at BSO with IUPA but they could not even get enough cards signed for an election. Furthermore, they attempted to submit forged cards to PERC to obtain an election by any means. PERC just tossed out the PBA's application for election over fraud. We negotiate with attorneys at the table and at impact bargaining...we do not send reps or senior deputies to negotiate contracts. That's a lawyers job!
