You will be treated and belittled like crap regardless of your experience. Fyi, North Miami DOES NOT have a cap on how long members remain in a unit. That means that until a member in DB or the crime suppression unit decides to leave the unit (or pisses someone off) you will not see an opportunity.

We have lost some good cops to other agencies for this very same reason because there are no opportunities for movement here. I can guarantee you if you join the community oriented policing (political arse kissing unit) you are likely to move up.

Officers are miserable here and morale is at the lowest that it can be. Police work has been abolished.
