Once again a great day at the POA Hall. Kudos to everyone who planned it, cooked. baked, poured, drank ate etc...It was a perfect weather day.
A huge THANKS to the usual cast of people on the podium and behind the microphone. Bigger THANKS to FOP President Mike Tucker and Retiree President Elect Paul Debold who informed us clearly of what's being done for all the retirees.
The food was once again delicious so THANKS Ian Sandman and Shane Calvey. Joe Hoover JR and partner at the bar!
It was a packed house with many old timers and by that I mean how can you argue with Lima 114 (Whitey Grimm at 90 yrs young) as the most senior retiree there I believe. A few other 100's were there.
Nice to see some younger retirees at this luncheon too! The comedian (Captain Mitch VanSant) was again on the ball and with all he has going on in his life Mitch came and did his gig so Mitch U R the Man!!!!! Thanks and all of us will continue to support you, Kim and the family anyway we can.
Let's all plan on being at next year's luncheon and for those who can make it, the actual retiree meeting the day before. May all of us stay healthy, eat right, etc and get another free lunch in Feb 2019
