With the nearly tragic incident over the past weekend we need to have a block of instruction this year in deputy refresher in officer safety. It is paramount that we remember not to put hands/arms in vehicles. Just checking www.officer.com there are two other incidents in the last week or two where officers have had serious encounters with hands in vehicles, etc.
