There was recently an incident involving a bicycle strapped to the Sheriff's vehicle. The strap "broke" and the bicycle apparently went onto the interstate and damaged three vehicles. As a public service effort the following is provided:
www.saris.com. This company makes bicycle racks with a lifetime guarantee!!! They also have a warranty. This would have saved the taxpayers of Volusia County money.
www.cpsc.gov. This is the government website for the consumer product safety commission. Obviously if bicycle straps are "breaking" consumers all over this great country need to know about it. The VCSO, being the fine organization it is, should send the "broken" strap to the CPSC so that an investigation can take place and consumers can be protected.
