I recently graduated from the academy and have been applying for a job with an agency nearby. I haven't received a call back and I don't know why. I have an AS degree and I speak Spanish. I was rejected before because having worked as a valet I took change from guest vehicles. Not a lot, just a few quarters for a brief period of time. This happened 5 years ago, I figure this may be the reason why I will never get hired as a law enforcement officer. I also recently took a pain pill for an injury that occurred to me at the gym. I didn't have insurance and the pain was so bad that I couldn't sleep so my mom gave me one of her pills. These are all my faults and I'm just looking to see if these are permanent disqualifiers. Please let me know as my window is closing; my certification expires next year.
