The chief was made aware of her antics and told her if she talks about wishing death on her ex again, his new girlfriend, and her children again, she'll only get a half a piece of cake. Not to worry about anything yet, APT, the “Amy Protection Team” (she is better known as apt to do anything), is in place and working overtime.

From the City Manager down things are underway to do nothing. Memos are being written, people are talking to people, HR is gonna not get involved, we will hide it from the Commissioners and not warn the public, just business as usual here in North Bay Village.

The only people that have any worry are the ones who are on her $hit List, which appears to be about everyone due to their real or imagined involvement in her problems. For sure the witnesses to the most recent blow up stand a chance of elimination, which seems to be all of the Day crew officers.

There was a disagreement that occurred on the phone in front of everyone, whatever happened to at least trying to conceal your domestic problems from your fellow officers, they have their own problems and certainly don’t want to get involved in yours. But involved they are, even Butterball, which really pissed him off, (what was he doing there so early? Was his watch broken? Oh! He was there demoting “Mr. No Report”). Now he has to openly do nothing in front of witnesses, to ignore the obvious, he is forced into making a decision of not making a decision again. Oh, woe is me, the responsibilities of being a supervisor. So what does he do? Why he runs into the Chief’s Office and tells. Now he doesn’t even have to write a memo. But it still hurts and is a little confusing, having to make a decision to not make a tough decision.

A short list of possible future victims appears to be 3 previously threatened officers, her ex, his current girlfriend, the girlfriend’s kids, the latest witnesses to this latest blowout and anyone in the public who unknowingly pushes her button.

I am certainly relieved that the prior problem was immediately and effectively addressed by putting her in Treasure Isles Elementary School as the PAL Officer, good call City Manager, way to side step a problem Chief, way to be part of the problem and non-confrontational Lt’s, what did her Sgt. do? Terrific problem solving HR.

The way the City solved the prior problem(s) to the prior problems, may be a better choice, put her in DB. Yeah, that was bad for her. Imagine being forced to fill a position that everyone else covets and accomplished with no interview. Being forced to get a 5% increase in pay, a take home an unmarked DB car to stalk your enemies, real or imagined, forced to receive a phone stipend, make your own hours with the ability to obtain/manipulate overtime, get a clothing allowance, do your personal business on duty like get a haircut or your nails done, weekends off, yes, the punishment never stops.

So, when you are sitting in your vehicle in public or sitting in your chair at roll call, you now have another worry added to your safety list.
