One more day off from scrutiny, but one day closer to your fate. Ever have a dream where you are falling and cant stop and suddenly wake up?

Your secretary wont be able to cover for you on this. Dont want to come to the office? Soon it wont be yours, through ballot, or "other ways" No worry, show even the slightest indication of hiding, they will come to you. Despite being a little man, you are large prize in the eyes of the ambitious SAs who would jump at the chance of adding you to their score card. For once YOU ARE A BIG PRIZE as your little man self. Would they simply notify you through your attorney and work out a self-surrender, all dignified and professional? Or, want to perp walk you with a little show?
You wont even be gone overnight, and thats fair. Why should your family suffer any more than the families of those who youve denied justice, a fair shake, what everyone is, and should be entitled to.
Youre above the law, after all this is "your county". You should be viewed as a lord, not an elected official who violated the trust of a community who elects a Sheriff to lead the department which presumably protects it. Your conduct among the people whose careers were simply being a deputy in their community, was disgraceful. You, and your inner circle and "pals" are a cancer.
Your day, and the day of a few others, its coming. This is not about "you deserve it" "serves you right", this is "you earned it"
The handcuffs you wear, your are wearing for allowing others to avoid them. Was it worth it?
