The Philadelphia Take home car plan has proven itself well er yeah okay for now it has.
Getting really tired of having Hendry County Sheriffs Marked Patrol Units driving around in 1 and 2 counties away from Hendry County. Recently in the last 5 months, there has been 4 instances where HCSO Marked units are running balls to the wall Lights, Siren and acting like they are backing an officer down, running citizens off the roadways, driving like idiots.
Which the argument of backing an officer up scenario is extremely stupid and moot. If they are needing that kind of help, and you are responding 1 and 2 counties over, it is going to be 45 minutes or so depending on the OTHER county traffic loading.
Such as today 10/13/2016 16:35hrs heading eastbound west of I75 on the otherside of Bayshore Rd during rush hour traffic, and here comes the lights, siren, and dangerous driving at very high speed running cars off the road etc etc. Hendry County Marked Unit again.
I find out that they had a shooting (NOT of a law enforcement officer) in Clewiston which is the reason for the response.
Is the Rank and File of Authorized Strength of the Hendry County Sheriffs Office so low with open vacancies, that they cannot fill normal positions, nevermind any expansion. Are the officers who are employed working so many OVERTIME hours, both in Road, Corrections, Investigations, Dispatch Operations, because of these open positions which CANNOT be filled because nobody will apply? Now we are creating a whole other issue with officer fatigue, response, safety, and clear thinking.
One this is for certain, KEEP the patrol cars in your county, and do not jeopardize us who live in counties that do not have Hillbilly Cops running the show. Obviously you cannot afford to have your assets so far away due to the fact you have NO ONE left in the county to respond.,
As for todays episode, why couldn't Clewiston PD be used for mutual aid or Palm Beach SO? Instead of running code 80 miles away. Or have they distanced themselves from your agreements as well.
Kinda like Ronnie.
