Dear Mod 1 please explain to alot of us why you would be so he'll bent on eliminating racially modivated postings on a public website. Yet you allow racially, and sexually bias to continue within the Hallandale Beach Police Department? Is it because you along with the Chief and some of the administration can privately show how racist you all are, let's face it you can hide in your offices and the public would never know the difference. Stop the retoric.

Mod 1, we have a problem with our thread because our moderator is our Assistant Chief. I just tried to post something and it says he has to review it before it gets posted. The post was in part about him. Please rectify this because if I posted it now and he does not check it till he gets in Monday or Tuesday, well what is the point of posting on your site. Please help us.

Today I woke up excited and it is the first day in a long time that I am proud to be a member of our police department. Chief Quinones, good luck and I hope you keep your word.

Rumor has it you want to make changes to our command staff. If the CM has an issue with it this might help your proposal.

The Assistant Chief makes 140k. Demote him to officer and it will put him at $83,657(Officer civil service).

Demote 2 Majors who make 135k each. They will be left at 106k each (sgt civil service).

Demote 2 Captains who make 115k each. They will be left at 106k each (sgt civil service).

You will be saving the city 132k a year on your first day. If you really want to impress the CM explain to him by demoting the Assistant Chief you save the pension thousands of dollars. His 2 year averaging will not be 140k for 2 years. He leaves in 4 years. He might make sergeant so at best his base salary will be 90k or you can just fire him because he was not hired back civil service so he will get 40-50% when he turns 52 (best cost savings).

I will walk in Monday with my head held high. Great things are to come in 2018.
