Just wanted to commed the men and women of the MGPD who responded to that drive-by shooting and subsequent chase of the suspects that took place earlier this evening near the Myrtle Grove area. I jhad arrived home from work when I heard the shots fired and then saw an unmarked unit in pursuit of the suspected vehicle shortly after. MDPD Air Unit was quickly overhead, and later cleared-seeing that the suspects were all caught??? I cannot thank you all enough for the dangers you face working in this city. From the bottom of my heart: I greatly appreciate all that you do and will support all police officers. Thank you again and be safe!
