Live in the MG(Bunche Park) area and while I was 09 last night, got a call from my wife that there was an OIS shooting in the area of 159 street and 29 avenue. Any truth to this? If so, hope all officers are QRU. Stay safe, guys and gals.

I worked last night and though we did have a shooting in the Bunche Park area, it wasn't OIS. We do appreciate the concern and make sure you guys stay safe too. It can get bad anywhere at anytime these days, you never know.

Thank God. My wife thought it was judging by the amount of units she saw responding to the scene. You are right in what you say; it's getting bad here in the Gables, too. Watch each other's backs and wear your vests at all times. God bless you all
