word of advice.. don't ask here as usually only disgruntled LEOS use it to talk crap.. find out from those working there, go by and talk with them..what is the turnover rate, benefits, and future chance for advancement.. also attitude is everything at any job! Good luck.

Great place to work, but you wont get hired without knowing someone. A lot of politics and corruption in our hiring unit.

Seriously, all of South Florida PD's seem to have rampant nepotism.

It's a shame because you will end up with a bunch of incompetent employees, only got in because they have a hook in the inside.

Sure it’s a great place to work. One of the benefits is you may end up with one of the officers who are married. So many in records have no problem having affairs with married officers. Bonus !

Hello all, anyone who recently applied for Sunrise PD? What is their reaponse average time after putting in an application for (non-certified)
