I have been a LEO for many years from another state and recently saw the news article and publications about the Jaywalking incidents in Atlanta..
I have served on the road, detective bureau and major crimes unit. In all my time as a LEO I cannot believe APD and other surrounding agencies make arrests for JAYWALKING.. are you kidding me. How the heck in Georgia is this even a crime..it should be a ticket at most.. don't you guys have enough work to do with all the burglaries, rapes, robberies, and murders..
Lets go ahead and tie up LEO's, The courts, and corrections with all this crap.. only to be thrown out..
