This is exactly why we should have a policy about living or sleeping with deputies/officers. This is getting old, why do we put up with it. How many need to be hurt before something is done about it? Tragic very tragic, we are better than this, we need to come together and prevent this fro happening again.

I’m surprised that no one responded to your comments. Yes we are better than this and it was a policy violation for these officers to be living together as they were for some time and both were married to other people. She was also his immediate supervisor at one point in their illicit relationship. Fact is Chief Weschler was aware of this policy violation as indicated in the internal investigators notes which indicate Weschler did not want the couple surveilled. Had Weschler done his job perhaps this incident wouldn’t have happened.
