Hey brothers and sisters, put your differences aside and think about your future. Once you get some time on with any agency, the pension is what keeps you going. Do you really want to give up your current plan for a 3 year S.T.E.P. plan that can be suspended when the contract expires? You will pay more into the pension and receive less benefits when you retire. Remember, two out of three of your current administrators will not be affected if the current pension changes. Once you give something up to the city, good luck getting it back.
