Empowerment. Forward thinking. Premiere. Teamwork makes the dream work. Transparency. Solidarity. Core values. Moving forward. Situational leadership. Effective leadership. Accountability.

All these words we've heard in line up, being preached to us by the Chief from a prepared statement written by The asst chief NV. While NV still has his secret meetings and clearly demonstrates he is no longer a champion of officers rights, but an organizational bully.

Have these words done anything for you? Have they gotten you a raise? Have they gotten you better working conditions or more benefits? I know I haven't gotten anything. Except lies, stress and aggravation.

Let's start with the Chief...it's fair to say that our Chief is no better than Punxsutawney Phil. He comes out of his office once a year to tell us we're all doing a great job and are becoming premiere, then goes back into his hole for another twelve months. Don't think we haven't noticed how you send delayed emails at 5:55pm, after you've left the office 15 minutes earlier so as to avoid conflict with anyone in the building. That's forward thinking!

But that's okay. You have your angry chihuahua to run the agency. Let me tell you from our perspective what we think. An organizational assassin is what he is. He puts himself before the members of the police dept. He controls the union reps like he's still the senior VP of the PBA. HE HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING BUT ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING. This is the saboteur that we do not trust. Instead we fear what he will do next. No one will confront him. Every one is afraid to challenge him. He is unsupervised and unqualified to handle even the most basic supervisory tasks. Which is evidenced by the way he handled the KF vs. KB fiasco. If he would have just handled the issues when they arose, we would not have been publicly humiliated in the media. There's effective leadership and accountability!

Everyday we sit in lineup and hear the Sergeants tell us, whatever you do don't say that out loud. Whatever you do, don't piss him off. Whatever you do, don't question his agenda or his rule. Whatever you do, don't say anything in front of the PBA reps because they report back to him. They all sit in fear of the blitzkrieg they would face, should he catch wind of any opposition. So much for teamwork making the dream work!

When is enough enough? We have no leadership from the Chief, we have management by retribution from the asst chief. Majors who are retired on duty, already looking ahead to their next career. Captains who are a bad carbon copy of the asst chief from their wardrobe to their hairstyle to their attitude. Talk about solidarity! More like assimilation!!

Just throwing it out there, but has anyone else lost all confidence in our administration???
