Pay raise

It's my understanding that we were offered a 3% pay raise. Sounds good to me. When do we get to vote on this?

Yeah, I think we should petition the manager for our 3%. If some guys don't want it they don't have to take it. However, there are a lot of us who want their money. If fat boys followers don't want theirs so be it.

I agree. Janseyjerk, grandaclown, freveanus sucked up to the fat jerk and walked away From a 3% raise.

All of you seem to be upset that the PBA refuses to bring the city offer to the body and have a vote. All of you complain about it but do nothing. You can't complain to the city manager, the PBA is your negotiating team. You voted for them to negotiate. Now, if you want them out, then you need to have a vote from the officers/sergeants and vote the PBA out. Then you can have a vote on the contract. If the body wants the 3% at that time, then you reach out to the city mgr and formally tell him that the PBA no longer represents you and the voting body has agreed to the 3% and the other terms that the city has offered. You can also bring in the FOP or other police unions. You can get with the City of Miami FOP leaders and they can guide you as to what you need to do to get the FOP in here. They can't do any worse. Think about it. But you need leadership. Someone needs to start this up. Otherwise, don't cry or complain about the pba
