Just found this article and read through the investigation. How can your agency justify hiring and retaining this Deputy after raping a girl? I understand charges were not filed, partly because the vic didn't wish to pursue further, but there is overwhelming evidence (including the recorded conversations and texts) that show he did indeed rape her. Seems to me like FDLE or CJSTC should open an investigation regarding his LEO certification.
I also noticed the same Deputy was recently (July 2013) charged with Leaving the Scene. Not sure of the details on that situation, but I definitely feel these incidents should be looked into and the proper action be taken on his certification.
