port parking

Hi all,

I am a deputy just west of you guys and going on a cruise soon. I just saw the outrageous parking rates at Port Canaveral, are there any legit places to park at outside of the port?

I work for Brevard, what I do is call Port Canaveral Police Dept and just simply ask them if they don't mind if I park my veh in their station parking lot while I am on a cruise. Each time, they have been more than accommodating and having an officer come pick us up and our luggage and drop us off at the Terminal. Love em.

What's wrong with this....... you can afford a cruise but you can't afford to pay for parking, stay home or work a homeless begging corner for a couple of hours to get some parking money.
