A line of duty death is always tragic.

It is doubly tragic when a LEO who has put in several decades of service is killed just at the time he should be starting retirement. He has had many years of leisure time and relaxation stolen from him.

My condolences to the Walker family and Trooper Walker's extended family....The VIrginia State Police. His photo shows a very dedicated man with years of caring and service etched in his face. He is with his God and will continue to watch over his family and the people he served for 40 years. RIP
