Mother of Boynton Beach woman allegedly killed by ex-FAU cop sues the university

Now how is she going to tie the University to the incident? Ho was off duty and the incident occurred off campus. The only thing I can think of would be if the weapon was FAU's gun. Not that I'm saying Ho shouldn't have been hired (or, even more outrageous, promoted) but I think this suit should be dismissed.
