Animal Control?

What's up with NPR now having animal control all of a sudden? I thought the county handled all :roll: of that stuff. Where did the money come from to pay this new guy when we need more officers. Sounds like budgetary BS to me. :shock:

That "Animal Guy" is a former police officer a former US Marine and a complete volunteer that gets nothing but minimal police support and from what I can see, a huge pile of grief. Leave him alone. He volunteers more time than you whiney know-it-alls put in for a pay check that never seems to be high enough. Ever see how people get about their precious pets. He'll be lucky to make it six months before some dirtball shots him for taking away his poodle.

Volunteers? Is he nuts. Make 'em pay him for his services. Has anyone noticed that our fair city is being over-run by cats and dogs. I say "More power to him"!
