View Full Version : Wayne Ivey, outsider

How can anyone back Wayne Ivey for the Republican nomination for Sheriff of Brevard County? He, by his own resume, can't hold a job for very long. He was not even with FDLE for 20 years yet. He had an affair with a FDLE employee while married and in Ft. Pierce. His supervisory skills are terrible, even for a first line supervisor, which is all he has ever been. The people that worked for him, few that they were, hated him as a supervisor. He campaigned for the job of Sheriff (backed up by emails and texts he sent) while he was suppose to be working at FDLE. He resigned (retired) while under investigation from FDLE. This checkered past does not sound like he should be the choice of anyone. If he does win, the upper level of the BCSO will not change, it will only grow (so he can put more people into high paying, do nothing jobs) as a result of their campaign work. The policies and bad treatment of the Deputies will not change. Jack Parker never had anything to do with running our Department and neither will Ivey, so nothing will change for us. Let's get someone who has worked here and will take an active part in running this Sheriff's Office. Lets not allow Wayne Ivey to follow in Jack Parker's footsteps.
