Can anybody please tell us what is going on here? The place is crazy, and all kinds of rumors are flying around. Not to mention the booktwerp is running around telling everyone he is going to be chief.

I am going to start looking for another job.

I don't think you are asking the right people. Some people act like they know what is going on & what the future of the agency is, but that is merely to keep up the illusion of power. They really have no clue. But I know. Oh yes I do.... :evil:

Is there ever anything positive written on these forums? Do any of the law enforcement agencies do anything right? I thought most of the people on this forum were law enforcement? Are you all really this better and unprofessional? State real issues and how they can be corrected do not site personal problems. If you were true professionals, you should be able to work out your issues with your administration and make you agency what you wish it to be. If you cannot or do not like working for your administration then go somewhere else, or support who you work for.

To: Clewiston Supporter, I really wish it was that simple. If one could go to his administration and tell him his problems or concerns and he actually listen and did something about it. Then this site wouldn't be needed. The harsh truth is, in these times you cannot. I know the Chief is a Christian man, and means well for the most part. But I also know, he is still a man trying to live and his reputation and job is his number one priority. Honestly, why shouldn't it be. I've always heard most Chief's stay in office for appox 3-5 years. I suppose its because they eventually buck to hard and leave. NOT this Chief, he definitely has not and dose not buck. He stays calm and rolls with the punches, a skill one could be jealous of. This admin thinks that they can fix problems by pushing their officers. Its silly, you don't push someone to do something, you inspire, motivate, lead, CARE, respect them, and most importantly STAND BY THEM. Don't just say it, do it. Show them you care, that you are there. Remember, this is suppose to be a family. How do you treat your kids? Are they first or last on your things to do. When your son cry's, you hug him. You don't just hug him because he is crying, you hug him so he knows you are there and that you care. IDK, just some things to think about....

Wow it seems to me that some disgruntle employee making accusations again. You have to love people that do a bad job get jealous of the people who do work and then write false accusations that if they had any validity to them would have been addressed and taken care of.

This is the same false accusations you make every time something does not go your way. What is your excuse for things not changing now? You used to blame it on Whidden. You do not work for him. Then you blamed it on the Assistant Chief and the Chief. She is gone. Now you have the new LT. who has years of experience and is not a good old boy. His back ground shows that he is willing to fight wrong doing and stand up to political pressure so why is he not taking care of Clay or McNeil if they are as you said “robbing the place.” Hell the way I understand it is he thinks Clay does a great Job and I have never heard anything negative about McNeil. Think she was recently moved to fix problems not cause them.

As always more false accusations and the same trait you have shown everywhere you have worked. This is the same reason why you could not get a job anywhere near where you are known. Now you want to talk nice about Petersen when you talked crap about her when she was working for the P.D. You are the same two faced coward you have always been. You talk a good talk about being up front but you cannot walk the walk.

Stop hiding and if all the accusations are true file a formal complaint make it public and see where the chips fall see if there is any proof to your accusations. When you two worked together at the Sheriff’s Office you would come to me and talk crap about her and she would do the same. Then when you left you were mad at me because I stayed and did not jump on your band wagon. I do not know one of your old partners that you stayed loyal to. Any of us that moved up you attacked. You left the Sheriff’s Officer and when you were finally hired at the Police Department you wasted little time getting back to your old tactics. Really, you obviously do not know the facts, because I have not even been bashed in these posts I just know some of the people who have and if it is not her writing the post she is talking to whoever is. As for feeding a fire, I am just speaking truth and facts. I have not brought up anything nasty or personal knowledge, just professional facts. Look I do know her well and that is one of the reasons I pulled away because she was always talking out both sides of her mouth and causing problems. Yes if you went and confronted her she would tell you some of the honest side, but you would have to confront her. Look if we are friends and you do not like what I do tell me get mad at me do not go try and cause me issues at work. If it is work related give me a chance to correct it before you go to my supervisor or talk to someone outside the agency about me. According to what I have seen and heard there was not one supervisor at the Clewiston Police Department she did not bad mouth. Really is everyone in the agency bad. What has been written on here shows a pattern, one that matches her and what she has done in her past. Like I said if it was not her, it is someone she is talking to. I for one am just tired of it. I do not want to feed any fire, but I do want it to stop and will tell the truth as I know it to be. This is proven because anyone who is around your department for five minutes can hear nothing but negative and disparaging remarks about anything and everything in the agency including all the other members, the bosses, the commission, the pay, the policies (or lack of), the equipment, the training, and any other aspect anyone can imagine. Ok let’s get this squared away: I do have a choice, the only thing holding me back is me, my family, friends, and my love for this area. Now as for anyone who is around my department for five minutes hearing nothing but negative and disparaging remarks about anything and everything, I hope that is not true and if it is then they are not helping my agency. If you were meaning Clewiston Police Department I would again say to you that they would be unprofessional and part of the problem. I did not tell you there were not issues with Clewiston I know there are and they know there is but many of them problems are outside of most of that agencies control and they just try to do the best they can. Many of their problems like you said pay, lack of equipment, training, are not unique to them; many small agencies have the same problems. As for lack of pay Clewiston is competitive to my agency, and other agencies around them.
Now you did say something that is true, the environment has been poisoned in Hendry County as a hole. This is because people get bitter when things do not go their way and they try to tear apart the things and people they are bitter at.
Before I go I would like to make sure, I understand this right. You think everyone who works in Hendry County as law enforcement is there because they are stuck, or are no good? Or just everyone who works for Clewiston Police Department? I would again say that many of you seem to be so very vengeful and wonder how you became that way.
And for closing I need no post cards from her, or any of you that feel so mighty and valid to attack and slander people. We of Hendry County will work through our issues and make life here better for our families. We may not be perfect but we are trying to fix problems not just making more.

Yes...We have to many non LEO's after us so why do we fight one another? We need to stand together and help eachother. We are stronger together. We all talk grap from time to time, but remember we are still borthers. Just like blood family, we cannot pick our family but we will stand behind them. Please, stand by me.

Brothers? The people in the communities treat us better than our own people and that includes those that work for the all mighty HCSO. Those that want or are secretly planning to change to HCSO has something coming to them. Of course, if you end up part of the kiss a** group then you'll be blessed like all the others we got.
