Entitlement

So I heard a certain someone decided to post their frustration on facebook of how they would "go postal" if they went to days because they finally have enough senoirity to go where they want and their "advanced certifications" would cause them to be moved. All TWO of their certs for Breath Test Operator and Radar/Laser.

Keep in mind that this person has Senoirity over only three officers. This person seems to have let the OOTY award go to their head.

ridiculous. those that came before you had to put in their time so you should too. you are not as important as you think you are. stop crying. we all know that works, but you're losing the respect of your peers by using it.

The problem is that this person doesn't care about the respect of their peers anyway.

sounds like this facebook stuff is getting blown out of proportion. at the end of the day, it does not matter. everyone wants to feel like they are important and there's nothing wrong with that. when you make a big deal out of someone else's mistakes and/or questionable judgment - it just makes you look like you're trying to make them look bad - to make yourself look better.

If they threatened to "go postal" on a public discussion forum they should be suspended and psychologically evaluated. People like that can't be trusted to have access to guns because they might carry out their threats.
