We all know Steube will be running in 2012 and will most likley win. The big question is what will happen two years later in 2014??? Who will he hand it over too like it was handed to him??? If Rickey gets it then who can beat him in 2016? Any opinions on this?

In order for anyone to become sheriff 1 of 2 things must happen. Either voted in or is appointed by the Gov.. Do you think for 1 second that the Gov., would make someone Sheriff with Rick's educational background in comparison to qualified personel, keeping in mind he could make someone in FDLE Sheriff, and remember the Sheriff does not have to be a certified LEO.
Rick Wells is a very nice guy and I think he is making a change for the good. But education and experience is not going to let a nice guy surpass them.
