Layoffs, reduced benefits, pension and pay cuts.....seems the city’s failure at running in lean times has actually won.
The voters/taxpayers have abandoned us and the city has almost completed their "divide and conquer" campaign with the pending layoffs. The layoffs will split the PO's along the lines of who gets it and who don't. The street talk is layoffs before pay cuts.
What are the smart moves????
I have a suggestion:
We hire a PR Professional firm to manage the PR we need to win. Our union leaders are inept at saying the right thing and the news media will use anything they can to bash us.
