Hollywood PD was always looked upon as the best in retirement benefits that other cities in SFL would follow. The best is SWAT schools with a great reputation. What has happened to us ? We must get on a plan to head off this spiral downward with everyone's help and not be divided!

Who says he worked for Hollywood? He could of retired from anywhere and just saying pension benefits are not going to get any better.

I'm not really sure why you think the citizens will vote for the police when every police officer and average citizen around the country is taking pay and pension cuts. In addition, the rest of the country is in bad shape and people can't even find work. What makes the Hollywood police/ fire departments better than the rest of us? The reality is that the Hollywood citizens will vote tomorrow and resolve this mess. If the citizens vote in favor of the police/ fire, than they deserve whatever happens to them in the future.

no doubt the way the vote went sucked, however for years Hollywood police have screwed others, in every way possible, call it karma or whatever you want. when you treat others this way, you should have known it was only a matter of time before it would come back!
