Hi,
I am working on a study about new methods and technologies for law enforcement drug testing, particularly field tests that might be used to identify a controlled substance or test a driver for drug intoxication. I am looking at a few of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas, including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, New York, etc.
I am hoping to speak to the relevant personnel at the LAPD who would be experienced with or involved in the oversight of drug testing methods and technologies, but have had trouble identifying the correct people.
Can anyone suggest any contacts at LAPD who might be relevant to this inquiry? Any ideas would be a tremendous help.
