Will I here you are telling people Mike and Charlie violated policy when an armed subject with an assault rifle and knife was killed while trying to stab a police officer. What world do you live in to believe any law enforcement officer would not be justified in killing an armed subject who was attempting to harm or kill the law enforcement officer. Oh wait a minute the armed subject was an indian and the officers were not. Had this been a black, white or hispanic subject then nobody on that reservation would have given a damn. That must have been one of the unwritten indian rules: Thou shalt not protect themselves when attacked by a member of the tribe.

Charlie Tiger was pressured to fire or suspend the officers involved without pay to appease the family of the subject. As we all know he refused and was later made to leave. There is no other police agency that would ever think under those circumstances that this was anything but a justifiable homicide. A grand jury cleared the officers and gave them a standing ovation, why, because it was justified. Charlie can carry his head high and be proud for standing up the men and women officer's involved that night. Just remember Karma will always eventually come back and bite you. Stop the bad mouthing and start studying the Florida State Statue book and maybe you will learn.

Thats exactly what happened and Charlie stood by his cops costing him HIS job. Thats what those with values , ethics and accountability DO! ..MARCH 03, 2011 Report says Seminole Tribe casinos are cashing in, despite economyCasinos were once considered largely “recession-proof,” but the deep economic slump of the past few years did serious damage to the profits of casino havens such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City.


The Seminole Tribe of Florida, however, can still boast of prospering in a down economy. Tribal gaming revenues in Florida – comprised primarily of the Seminoles’ seven casinos – were up an estimated 10 percent in 2009, according to the just-released 2011 Indian Gaming Industry Report, published by Casino City Press.

All told, Florida Indian casinos grossed roughly $2 billion in 2009, the report states.

That year’s 10 percent jump came on top of an 18 percent revenue increase for Florida tribal casinos in 2008. Indian gaming nationally has in recent years fared better than commercial Vegas-type casinos, in part because tribal casinos tend to be located closer to home.
