Did Corbett Jump ship or was he pushed?

Just wondering, I had seen the Chief's spot advertised and wondered if there were any circumstances surrounding it.....Just curious.

The Chief position is open because Corbett was made Lt. Colonel a few months back.

What idiot made that decision? Oh my gosh, he is the worst and we all know it.
