View Full Version : DUIs in the Holiday Season

As we all know, this is the worst season of the year for DUI and DUI-related deaths. This means we all need to step up and enforce this important law with a zero-tolerance mentality. Of course, that means some of our own officers and their families are likely to be arrested at some point...DON'T LET IT BE YOU! Let's all make a commitment to prevent putting any of us DUI specialists in a bad situation where we have to arrest a law enforcement officer or a law enforcement officer's family member. Use a designated driver, take a cab, whatever it takes. If I catch you or even your mother driving impaired, I will come down as hard on you as I would a serial killer. It's just that important.

how about you give the dui to someone who really deserves it instead of the guy who had two beers? keep in mind its a misdemeanor. write some tickets, call them cabs, call them a ride from family. its the holidays, don't be a road nazi. if u have ever had more than 2 beers and got behind the wheel EVER in ur lifetime then u shouldnt be arresting anybody for dui. u know that this ruins peoples lives, sets them back financially, job losses, etc. use ur discretion, don't be a douche. stay safe

its really not that important. ur comparing serial killers to a misdemeanor dui charge. a guy with ur view needs to be far away from a dui unit as possible. u need to be behind a desk somewhere far away from human contact, crunching number or something. pretty sure that if u or ur "mother"were pulled over for anything whether it be traffic, felony stop or whatever, u would want some professional courtesy. if i stroked ur mom 3 tickets after she told me her son was cop and i said "thats too bad, ur headlights out and yes, its that serious", u know you would be like what the f*#$k. listen dude. be professional. dont be a tool.
