To Recant is a Medieval term used for individuals that due to either external pressures or due to strong internal convictions, abandon a belief or a particular position in a given subject matter.
In 06/06/2010 I contributed to the collective wisdom of our department with my: “NEW ERA OR NEW AGE?” monologue.
Time has being a great Teacher, I now see new things coming up, like the tip of an Iceberg seen from afar.
Yes, New Things are happening and they are all good things. Maybe these are the signs that a New Era and a New Kingdom has indeed arrive to our department.
Therefore, following the example of our medieval predecessors, I Thomas Hobbes Publicly and voluntarily and being presured by none other than my own councience I Recant and abandon my former views, attitude and beliefs in this matter!
The New Era has indeed Arrive!
Lest welcome the good changes that are taking place!
