According to the information released Friday, the primary mission of Border Patrol agents is to prevent terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering the United States. Agents also detect and prevent the smuggling and unlawful entry of undocumented aliens into the United States. To carry out their duties, Border Patrol agents conduct roving patrols, line-watch duties, transportation checks and other law enforcement activities. Depending on their location, agents can volunteer for details including all-terrain vehicle patrols, bicycle patrols, horseback patrols, special response teams, search and rescue teams and canine duties.

The majority of the police here in Coral Gables would not qualify for a Federal Position in law enforcement or for that matter anything else. I have witnessed it first hand their lackadaisical attitude and their lazy demeanor. The Federal government even the Postal Service would be wise to look elsewhere for qualified candidates.

It cant be that bad in the feds, just remember this: anyone who has ever left to go federal... never comes back!

P.S.
Feds don't need unions when they have a guaranteed pay raise for EVERY YEAR of service.
