Grant Money Recommendations

Anybody have any recommendations for grant money?? Post it here and skip the Chain of Command BS.

How about some sort of plug or insert for the taser grip where our spare cartridge used to be? The edges around the metal clip are sharp as are the edges where the finger release would have been. How about just spend some money on cartridges for replacements and give us our spares back? There is another battery pack available that smooths everything out, FHP has them.

How about some grant money for new uniforms?

SOAR or STOP funds so we can start making a living. Money so we can attend some training classes, like DRE training. Hell uniforms are pretty much the last thing. There is no money for uniforms at this point. There will be no take homes as a grant could be a one time shot and take homes would be a added budget cost. In car computers and cameras wold be more of a waste than tasers. Soar and Stop?? Are you serious? I laugh as that will never happen. You must be new. They will not let us work rest areas to our full potential, you can forget SOAR and STOP. Grants for training classes would be good, if they would let us use the training. There will be continued budget cuts in the coming year, we may need to use grants for everyday things like uniforms so we can keep a job.

What grants? There has to be a grant program that allows for the purchases you propose! I will give 24 hours to see if any of you know where to find grant opportinities before I check back and tell you!

You are so smart that you do not even know how to put a link in properly. When they make me an admin LT, or higher then I will start looking for grants. Until then I have trucks to check. Let those that sit on their arse in Tally find the grants that is what they get paid the big bucks for. I do not need more crap on my duty belt.
