Hey nice to see even when you put pornography materials on the network drives you can keep your job and interview others. Jansen loaded the p drive full of pornography materials and Finley caught him. Why does the chief keep this man around? Can anyone tell me if I were to put the same stuff on the network if a patrol could keep their job. What is going on with are place? When did are standards get lowered?

Who did the investigation? Was there an Internal Affairs investigation done? Or was it going to get swept under the carpet by the police department? Hmmmmmm Would the police department really allow all of the personnel to know one of their TOP Leaders, third in command, did something wrong? Doubt it.......that would only diminish all their credibility. Wait....did the the screaming, spandex wearing,SOP bending pornographer not realize it was illegal to view pornographic material on a Police Department computer. It was just a mistake, he didnt mean for his pornography to be uploaded. Now we all know what he does behind closed doors when he isnt screwing with someones paycheck, or trying to demean or write up his employees for nonesense. He is keeping himself happy.

I love it!!!! That place will NEVER change. I hope it doesn't too, cause I need the amusement. That is the only department that I know of where you can get a DUI or watch porn on a office computer and keep your job because you have a title. Doesn't suprise me though, the hipocracy starts from the top down. If the staff would spend as much time taking care of their people as they do worring about their next promoition, position or pay raise that might be a decent place to work. However, the mindset is and continues to be bust balls and justify your position cause you really don't have much else to do. Keep people in check by yelling and screaming like you need to be medicated. The Chief does it, so why shouldn't his hand picked staff. Don't encourage or tollerate questioning how things are done, because if there were a better way WE (the airport elite) would have thought of it. Keep your mouth shut and keep your job. Maybe the next guy to run the show out there will see what a bunch of self absorbed hammer heads are running that department and usher in some much needed change.....I'm sorry guys, I'm not holding my breath for ya.

S .A we dont need negative people in the Dept trying to stir up trouble granted he shouldnt have done that but hey thats a real big deal? Ha ha this is 2010 its funny however lets all appreciate our jobs rather look for fault with each other oh he did that oh did your hear that so and so did that grow up it a Police Dept lets try and act professional rather than find "FUN" mean things to say about each other ,you all in the Dept are not Christians all you want to do is hurt each other thats why the moral is down all you do all day is talk bad about each other all day take a good look at yourselfs who find this funny iam sure you all have skeletins in your closet I would like you to post one so we can cruisify and put you down you all really need to grow up thats my opion think about what I really said when you go to CHURCH you need to forgive and treat people with love !

Hes a Great leader who turned around the traffic Department, Had statis 7 Has all the Traffic specs treating the customers with respect making Tampa the #1 airport in U. S .A we dont need negative people in the Dept trying to stir up trouble granted he shouldnt have done that but hey thats a real big deal? Tha last few days have not gone well for those who are narcissist. This is not an isolated incident. Our training tells us that when you catch someone in a DUI, most likely they have driven drunk a thousand times. You bring porn to work you have a problem. It goes deep within that persons values.Communication from the top should happen. This has affected us all. Its in the papers and we hear nothing about corrections being made. If this had happened to me I feel I would have been terminated. Who does Traffic have to fall back on. No one. Feel bad for them.

Heard that he had a meeting with his so called supervisors and told them that "I received my punishment now lets move on, I was framed". Does anyone know how to save anything to computer hard drive? What if there was a virus on what ever he put in his computer and shut the airport down, would he still be there? It will take the Mayor and 2 others on the board to get ride of this PERV. Unless the Chief steps up like he should.

Well this is the number one topic for this department. When people come to learn about the department, they will not see information about us or the great folks that are part of the team, they will see this topic, this name. Ohter departments have issues like anything else, they address it and move on. We never address it, keep him around, and set our selves up to be humiliated.

WE hear he has 20 months left, is that true? Poor leadership all around, he prodused a new award winning bid for next year. He truly does not know the passenger paterns or maybe he just does not care to know them. When you manage an operation that is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you work only Monday thru Friday 730 to 430, you miss a lot of what really is going on. Stepping out for 3 times a day, for ten minutes, with your arms crossed trying to intimidate people just shows how insecure, nacissitic he is. That kind of pay people :devil: would work a night shift and a midnight shift from time to time. All we can hope is that they retire and we get someone that is here not to get a secondary retirement. He thinks finance threw a party when he left, wait until he goes.

Management is about arranging and telling, Leadership is about nuturing and enhancing.

Fresh off the press..... He tells employees if they don't like it leave, after traffic spec tried to give input, wanting to improve his job. Great answer, great for the morale. Hey why don't you leave and things will get better. What a bully, why can he say things like this and get away with it. If a Traffic spec replied, we are your number one asset, the guy and gal that is standing out there in the heat, in the cold, putting up with rude people, giving him a 98% approval rating with the mystery shopper program, getting only 20 to 30 complaints a year in an airport that puts out over 16 million a year. he should be Thankful. The average traffic spec has 8 years of experience. Why does'nt he solve problems, put in the hours, work 4 to 1 am every so often, put on a vest, stand for 8 to 10 hours, do a dolly job with the wrecker, work alph, work sr3. Will someone please explain to me what he does with exception of stepping out to the zone twice a day with his arms folded that justifies making over 100 grand.

He went out with a bang today, showed what a scumbag he really is. Glad he was escorted out, humilated, shamed like worthless dog waste. For the last two years I've put off surgury because of that beast, seeing how he treats other when they are sick or hurt. 319 could not get around in crutches because of that individual. I think we have not heard the last of him. We should be careful and alert with this individual, I do not believe he is stable, he is a sicko. Everyone was so much better today, felt we have a new start, so many people outside the Pd have expressed how glad they are to see him gone. I hope my next 8 years are better than the last 8.

So far so good, nice changes to the traffic division. Lets see if number 1,2,3, stay focused on the traffic division, realize it has worth. Everyone is doing better, the only way to take it beyond this is two things, the bid and the seniors. Word has it they want 12 hour shifts, bad idea, no way can a TS stand for 12 hours out on the streets, let them know thats is not even a consideration. 8 would be the best for the opperation and the TS. The bid has been a problem for years, 8 hours would work. KISS 5 to 1, 8 to 4, 3:30 to11:30, 5pm to 1am. Then have a 10pm to 6 pm as a midnight shift. Simple to the point and it will work. Put the seniors back in normal rotation based on seniority when hired. They should only be used when a supervisor is not working, other than that they should be out on the street like anyone else. Keep an eye on the seniors they were the lapdogs of JJ, they are his creation. Bring them back to earth, put them back in rotation and let them know they have only one purpose. Unit 1, 2, 3 have alot of making up to do, now they realize of the mistake made 6 years ago by them, it could have cost them there jobs and reputation, we may hear of JJ in the future. A good worker, with a good work ethic, would just come in and do their jobs and deal with it. But you guys who lie on reports, sleep on the job, ***** about taking one call a shift, married officers sleeping with other officers and dispatchers, making bad arrests etc etc think you have the right to complain? I work with all you guys and I sit back and watch it all happen. You all are a disgrace to the uniform and don't deserve the shields on your chest.

JJ wants his old job back and former Lt. wants run traffic. JJ is flat out a narcisstic, ill individual, the other should enjoy the golf course. Police supervision not interested in dealing with traffic.... they say get a manager. Many think police supervision really does not want to deal with the real issue which is the traffic supervisors and seniors. Please hire someone who has high moral character, is honest, humble, determined, fair and willing to work beyond 5pm and weeekends sometimes. The things that are going on after 5 needs to be fixed, the problem is the supervision. Give the supervisors a test, tell them to out line in 500 words or more what they believe needs to be done to improve the traffic division. Have them do it on the job, in their own handwriting, with a police supervisor watching them. It will show what they truly are, incompetent.

Things never got better for us in Traffic. Got rid of JJ now we have BR, got rid of a few supervisors, got more of the same. Its the same story. What can be done, leave or hang on. What a shame.
