I was just wondering why I never see any of your officers involved in multi-agency events (i.e. dui checkpoints, MAGTF, football games, etc.)

That is because they only have enough cops to cover the road. And the five cars they have can't be used for anything else. They did field force with us one year and had to car pool because they did not have enough cars to go around.

Having friends who live in Pinecrest, they told me they incorporated, as the county took an hour when lucky, to respond to their burglar alarms. All the new cities in operated in the recent past, did so to form their own police depts.

Trust me guys you don't want these Pinecrest losers anywhere near your scene or event they would not know real police work if it kicked them in the sack.

Decisions are made by the administration and the officer cannot attend unless the brass approves it.
