Okay how many of you Old Guards will agree with the request of Sgt. Vid's exit?
Just would like to take a survey of those who are truely offended in one way or another?
Either by his continued stalking?
His threats to fellow officers?
His continued abuse of the law's in reference to expectation of privacy?
His continued abuse of Ag Law Policy?
His now posting and distribution of pornography?
His constant embarrasment to this Agency?
YOU TAKE YOUR PICK!!!!
Sorry Sgt. Video, not allegations you are guilty of all of the above.

While I agree it is time for his retirement, those are all things done by others before, maybe not all by one person. Not trying to justify or rationalize it, but it has all been done and swept under the rug before. What makes you think it will change this time? I have just gotten to the point that as long as I can come to work and go home and draw a pay check why should I care? I have a note pad full of stuff so that if they ever come after me I am prepared. Always keep notes of goings on such as this folks it may come in handy one day. Ask Sistrunk (now retired).

I realize your pain of thinking that the wrong go unpunished, but we have hope that we have somewhat of a new regime and there will be justice. If we allow the Old Guards to continue this behavior what is in store for the rest of us, will we fall in line like soldiers to a "Guard"? I would hate to see anyone loose his or her job in this economy, but stupidity is not an excuse for embarrasment. We are constantly trying to repair an image that others tarnish. If we are going to be considered an equal to other State LEO we need to be held accountable, do I want to march up and down a hill...no..however do I want all of us to be held accountable for our Ethics Policy yes! Why have policy to throw at some and not others.
Let me quote a memo from the old policy manual 10/16/2003 from our fearless leader Darrell Liford...."Your actions both in public and privately in the work enviroment reflect directly upon the Office of Agriculture Law Enforcement, the Department of Agriculuture and Consumer Services, and Commissioner Bronson." Sgt. Vid should realize he is responsible for his actions at all time, not just when he adorns his uniform.

Currently: Policy 1.01 Cannon of Ethics "I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all and will behave in a manner that does not bring discredit to me or to my Agency."
If they want some more....In the same Policy under Minimum Standards of Conduct: 1. subsection g. Taking photographs or videotaping not in the furtherance of official job responsibilities(unless written authorization is obtained from the Bureau Chief, Lt. Colonel, or Colonel). Okay Major's, Captain's, Directors and everyone else. He has just violated not 1 but 2 policies out right!

Do I want to see you relieved of your duty completely, no I have some respect for everyone, but you need to suspended and your Rank needs to be taken from you. It has been taken from others for less and you need to be held accountable in the same respect.
Is this a wish list probably, but maybe someone will act and will restore the respect in the ranks.
