OT for the Parade

Heard that they now have to pay OT for the parade.
Is this true?? What happen??

I'm glad, to hell with P1's plan to screw with our overtime pay. It's in the contract.........P1 is trying to turn this department into some kind of communist dictatorship.........him being the prick dictator!

Our tax dollars should not be wasted on overtime pay for the police presence during the parade. They should be made to do it as a gesture of goodwill toward the community that pays them all year long.

Have your boss tell you, you have to work Saturday (your regular day off) from 4p-12a this Saturday night and then be back at 7a on Sunday morning. Also, be alert and attentive and make sure you are ready to fight for your life at any given moment and deal with iditos that call the police just because their nieghbor sneezed too loud.

And to compensate you for your trouble, He'll give you a day off (not of your choosing) right smack in the middle of the week, Wednesday, while your family is at school or work. Then they tell you too bad, too sad enjoy. But not one of the leaders making these decisions wil be affected. They will have their regular day off (Sat and Sun) enjoying thier time off.
