pending budget cuts SWAT team

New mayor and CM are looking to trim waste from dept.

Give the one or two SWAT real call outs the CCPD has every year to the Sheriffs SWAT team.
This will save city lots of money on training,ammo is pricey these days, staffing issues, silly equipment and toys and expensive trucks The Cape's swat team kids only do unreported accidentale discharges, calendars, cruizes, round up games and girls. not police work let alone dangerous police work.

The Capes team usually makes a blunder out of a simple call.
The Green swat team is better trained, more professional and gets the job done.

this cut might save your next pay cut or help fight to keep your pension or maybe help get your step raises back

I agree. Disband SWAT and sell off the specialized equipment. When called out these jokers end up having 24+ hour standoffs. What do we need them for?

If this happened in Cape Coral they'd be dispatching SWAT and the Mobile Command Center to deal with it, not animal control.

SWAT is even famous down south.

About 12 years ago Cape "Swat" raided my buddies house and tore the place apart...leaving behind all the evidence they were attempting to find...they tore the house up really good but as for evidence collecting ? Not so hot...
